Hollow Injection Molding Method "Gas Assist Molding"
There are almost no restrictions on the types of resins, and it can be applied to most thermoplastic resins!
"Gas Assist Molding" is a method where, after injecting molten resin into the mold, high-pressure inert gas (N2) is injected directly into the mold cavity or from the nozzle of the injection molding machine to selectively create a hollow section in the thick parts of the molded product. This method is expected to improve the appearance quality of the molded product (such as sink marks and warping), enhance rigidity through hollow ribs, and reduce residual stress in the molded parts. 【Benefits】 - Reduction in resin material usage due to lightweighting - Decrease in assembly labor hours for products through part integration - Reduction in mold costs due to simplification of mold structure - Reduction in operating costs through low-pressure molding (downsizing of the molding machine) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
